I know that you all pretty much want pictures of my lovely family, so here you go!
The snow was super powdery, so they couldn't make snowballs or snowmen, but they still had fun tossing it around.
It was such a bright day. Such a difference from when it snows in Washington and Oregon
Watch out!
You can't see it, but there is a little pond under the snow just in front of the boys. They had been exploring a couple days earlier and saw that it was frozen over. I'm glad we knew it was there so we could keep the boys off of it.
A group of maintenance guys came right after these pictures and shoveled all the walkways around our building. See the clear road too? I heard snow plows during the night keeping the roads clear. That's something I wasn't used to. But it sure made it nice when we wanted to go out after playing in the snow.
That's our building. Nice, right?
This looked cooler in real life. Sean smacked a tree limb and the snow flew off. It looked all sparkly, but it didn't turn out great on camera.
It was lots of fun to let the kids play. We discovered that Sean and I need better gloves. These pictures are from 3 days ago, and the snows still out there. I haven't want to go out again though because it's so cold. I'm sort of a wimp!
I hope you enjoyed the pictures.

oh, that sunshine! I am jealous of that... that is what I loved about the Minnesota winter.
