A day at the Zoo

My mom and grandpa came to visit for about 10 days and we had such a wonderful time. At the end of their visit, they went to Amy's and we all met up at the zoo. It was a beautiful, sunny day. Such a treat for February! 

The tigers were really fun to watch.

Mom has been wanting to walk on the Narrows bridge for a long time, so we figured this would be a good day for it. We found out where to park and started out for the bridge. It's quite a walk just to get there. Grandpa ended up waiting for us about half way to the bridge. We only made it to the first post (there was a bit of whining about being tired and thirsty) but it was very beautiful. In hindsight we wouldn't do the bridge on the same day as the zoo. It was way too much walking for the kids. Luckily, we all made it back in one piece (Matthew got a piggy back ride with Isabel!).
