A Playhouse for the Boys

Sean decided he wanted to make a playhouse last week and we just happened to have a couple of pallets sitting around. He and Jon talked about what they wanted it to look like and then got to work. Sean did a lot of the hammering himself with a stubby hammer we got him a while ago. His accuracy is improving. We got some sheets from Goodwill for the walls and doors. Sean wanted a window too.

Here's the finished product. The milk can will soon have a mailbox on it.

Inside the playhouse. Can you see the shelves on that back wall? That was one of the features Sean wanted too.

Crazy faces

The boys have already spent lots of time in their playhouse. They bring bugs inside to live with them. They run in there if a chilly breeze is blowing, or to get out of the hot sun. It's pretty small, but it seems perfect for these two.
