Sean's Science Fair

Sean must have heard about science fairs on one of his shows, so he got the idea of making one himself. I explained that science fairs are usually where lots of kids do projects and then explain what they did and what they learned. He told me that that's not what his fair will be. In his, he'll have things for you to "science." Sciencing is a popular term with Sean and it means exactly what it sounds like. He had collected flowers, and leaves, and other plants the night before on a walk, so he put them in water and set them up. He took my tulips to add to the display. He also has an amethyst taped to a larger magnifying glass.

He invited me in and let me use the little magnifying glass to get a close up view of all the different things he had displayed. Then he asked me to draw a picture of something I had learned about. I drew a little tulip and he said I did a good job.

We sent of Sean's kindergarten registration paperwork yesterday too. This boy is going to love school! I'm going to miss him like crazy for those few hours he's away.
