I was able to attend the Seattle Pride Parade this year with my family and some friends. It was such a fun day! We rode the ferry to Seattle and walked around a while until we found a good spot to stay and watch the parade. It was towards the beginning of the parade route and the kids were so excited to catch lots and lots of candy and other freebies. Our friends have been to Pride before so they had lots of gear they were willing to share with us.

Jay came to find us which was so nice! We were so happy to spend time with him at Pride.

Being at Pride was such a positive experience for me. I felt like everyone was accepted just as they are and there was such a great energy of love during the whole day. The kids had such a great time too and can't wait to go again next year.
