Go Hawks!

We don't watch football all year, but we caught on to the Seahawks fever this year. The boys especially started noticing that nearly everyone was wearing shirts with Hawks on them, there were Seahawks stickers all over, and some boys at school even had a Seahawk shaved into their hair! We decided to watch the Superbowl this year. Although, when I asked Matthew what sport the Seahawks play, he told me baseball. We're still working on differentiating sports. Anyway, I went out and got shirts for the boys and Matthew said he would like a Seahawk in his hair. I printed one out and shaved one into Matthew's hair during the first quarter of the game.

I was nervous that if they lost, it might be sad to have the reminder on his head, but the Seahawks totally dominated that game. Since I don't watch football, I had no idea how long the game lasts! Holy crap! I think one game a year is enough for me.

I asked Sean if he wanted a Seahawk in his hair too, but he said "Um, I'm not sure." He's a pretty sensible kid. Matthew is super proud of his and loves to show it off to anyone he can.

Go Hawks! Score a goal unit basket!
